Robert Holroyd is a graduate of Oxford University and an internationalist with over 25 years' management experience in schools in the UK and abroad. Prior to joining HD schools, Robert was Headmaster of Repton School, UK, and during his thirteen-year tenure of this post, he was privileged to internationalize the Repton brand in multiple locations across the world including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Jordan and India.
In her 27 years of teaching, Ms. Chang has won the trust of students and parents with her motto, 'Education is nothing but dedication, wholeheartedly'. Her books were recommended by the Ministry of Education for middle & primary school libraries. She is the Chief Editor of the Integrated courses’ curriculum and won the 2017 'Whole Person Education Award'. Ms. Chang was named one of the Top Ten Influential People in driving national reading and was the Director of the Curriculum Research Institute at Yizhuang Elementary School.
Ms. Yang is a renowned math teaching expert, and has previously been the cover story of the journal, 'Contemporary Educator'. She was part of the management committee and Grade Director at Yizhuang Elementary School. Ms. Yang advocates thinking-focused math learning with life-relevant application and interdisciplinary integration. At her previous school she innovated the Mathematics Integrated Curriculum philosophy and teaching model which were highly valued by parents and children.
Ms. Ilana Stadler comes from South Africa, with a Bachelor's degree in Education and Law. She started her career in education in South Africa as a Primary school teacher and became an experienced educator and administrator for over 20 years in different countries. Ms. Stadler served as the lower-grade curriculum coordinator in HDBJ for the past two years and gained parents’ trust with her engaging and rigorous teaching.
Mr. Anthony Nickerson comes from the United States and has 10+ years of experience in the field of international education. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management, a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and has finished his second Master’s of Education at Harvard University. Prior to joining HD Beijing, Mr. Nickerson served as the Deputy Head of Primary and Primary International Principal in leading K-12 schools in Shanghai and Xiamen for eight years. Mr. Nickerson is not only an expert in English language teaching, but also well-versed in science.
Mrs. Eva Marshall is from Kansas City, Missouri, with over 9 years of teaching and administrative experience in the U.S. and internationally. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Lindenwood University, a Master’s in Curriculum & Instruction, and a Specialist degree in K12 Leadership from Northwest Missouri State University. Before joining HD Beijing, she taught at Shanghai High School International Division and held leadership roles in Kansas City, focusing on ESL programs for a predominantly Latino student body. Mrs. Marshall’s motto, “Lead to inspire and drive for success,” reflects her commitment to fostering a thriving, inclusive learning environment. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family.
With over thirty years of education experience, including twenty years as a principal and nine years managing international high schools and bilingual private schools, Mr. Ren is proficient in curriculum development and management. He has led multiple curriculum and pathway innovations with remarkable results, earning him honors such as "National Outstanding Principal" and "Research Innovation Principal."
Doctor of Theoretical Physics from Peking University, previously served as Principal of the International Department at Beijing National Day School Etown Branch. With more than 10 years of experience in international education management, he led a team to establish the school's International Department from scratch. Starting his career in BNDS, he has been deeply involved in frontline education and teaching, focusing on the development of international curricula and the personalized growth and educational mechanisms for students within an international framework. He is committed in personalizing student development, guiding students to achieve outstanding results in various competitions such as the S.-T. Yau High School Science Awards, the International Space Settlement Design Competition, the British Physics Olympiad, the United States Academic Decathlon, China Thinks Big, and the World Scholar's Cup. He has guided students to gain admissions to prestigious institutions such as Yale, Oxford, Imperial College, Chicago, UPenn, among others.
