At Shanghai HD School, the School uniform fosters a sense of belonging and pride in the School and creates a sense of identity amongst the student body as a whole. It also helps create an atmosphere conducive to learning, reinforcing the academic setting and eliminating any discipline issues relating to clothing choice.

Our school uniform is inspired by the traditional British style of uniform. Students wear different school uniform for different occasions. The formal suit is worn on Mondays in the Kindergarten and Primary School, and throughout the week in the Secondary School. PE classes require appropriate sportswear and House t-shirts are worn during House activities. The uniform is high quality and manufactured from predominately natural materials (wool, and cotton), to ensure comfort for the students.

The uniform ordering system is very user-friendly and efficient. Parents are able to view the range of uniform in the School shop and order through the School mobile phone app called ‘上海赫德WeSchool’.
