HD Students Winning Awards: A Great Journey of Growth

Just a week ago, students from HD Shanghai won the Grand Prize and Best Presentation Award for the China Division of the Future City Competition. They demonstrated their ideas on cities of the future with a well-designed model and a creative bilingual drama performance. The competition, now in its twenty-ninth year, is an international Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) program in which middle and primary school students imagine, design, and build model cities of the future. The awards and certificates came as a pleasant surprise, but what is more precious is the growth and change in our students, who have spent around four months preparing and participating in the activities and have learned much through this exercise.
