Admissions Process

• Website: Read all information on the school’s website carefully.
• Wechat: Subscribe to the school’s official account (“HD_SCHOOL”), read the latest articles and those in the archive section.
• Register as an “Interested Family” online.
• Attend information sessions: Detailed information is published on the school website and on the school Wechat at least one week in advance of the event.

• Open to students from Kindergarten to High School (CASA – Y12)
• Registration information will be screened by the admission office in the first place

• All age appropriate students can apply.

1. Registration for Admissions (Open since Sept.1 for both spring and autumn entry)

• Regular Admissions is now open for Online Registration. Click here to fill out the form.
• HD Ningbo will review your application first and then invite registered families to come to the admissions activities.

2. Admissions Activities (March-June)

In order to promote mutual understanding between families and the school, we cordially invite eligible student families to come to our school to attend admissions activities. Details of the event and relevant information will be released in our information session and described in our invitation letter to you.

Please be noted that details regarding the admissions activities are released through mails and text messages. Please pay close attention towards your mobile phone and the e-mail box that you provide to the school during admission season.

3. Admissions Results

• Admitted: Parents whoever decide to take the offer should pay the fees per deadline specified in the offer letter to secure the placement.
• Waiting List: The student who are on waiting list will be considered for the current academic year when spaces become available.
• Declined: The student cannot be admitted for the current recruitment year, but s/he may re-apply in the following year(s).

• The school will arrange individual admissions when there are vacancies during summer, admissions is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

• Payment: Payment need be made on time in order to secure the place of study in HD Ningbo.
• Completion of the New Student Registration: Parents who are confirmed with the payment status by the school finance office will be instructed to register to be a WeSchool user, soft version of a various documentations will be requested to upload on WeSchool in order to complete the new student register procedure.
